Patrick Overom, PE

With over 20 years of industry experience and a background in mechanical engineering, Pat possesses diverse experience in overall facilities planning, operation, project development, design and construction. He has strong knowledge of institutional master planning and space usage programming, design functionality, work flow analysis, cost estimating, construction and project management. His background includes multiple construction delivery methods including design/build, design/bid/build, general contracting and construction management services. Pat is integrally involved in all planning activities for ICS. He focuses heavily on the evaluation of building components and systems and materials for both new and existing facilities. He is able to provide exceptional value to clients based on his understanding of first cost, life-cycle, energy efficiencies and overall operation and maintenance costs. His experience and leadership ensures that the ICS team has all of the resources to provide our client teams with an excellent experience.

Scott Johnson

Scott has been active in the construction industry for over 25 years and has experience in all aspects of the construction process.  He provides customized services to clients from pre-construction planning, cost estimating and scheduling, to post-construction project close-out and final documentation.  Scott possesses a unique ability to identify and resolve potential constructability issues and other project related conflicts.  He focuses on ensuring that all appropriate processes, manpower and systems are implemented for your project.  His ability to evaluate the “big picture” on a project will afford the owner with a smooth transition to occupancy and an on-time, on-budget delivery.

Mike Piper, LEED AP

Mike brings a wealth of expertise to provide lucrative tax incentives to both public and private entities that have made investment in new facilities and/or energy efficient improvements to existing properties.  His experience in federal tax solutions coupled with a strong knowledge of sustainable design practices has afforded ICS clients with millions of dollars in facility savings.  His energy and passion for successful project completions make him an invaluable member of any project team.

Dana Fontaine, CPMP, BCxP, CCP, CxA, LEED®AP BD+C

Mr. Fontaine is a hands-on commissioning provider and root-cause analysis expert with over 25 years of experience in commissioning, operations, construction, design, and project management.  Dana listens to his clients and team members and consistently puts his client’s interest first.  His depth of experience assessing, developing and installation of technical systems brings an excellent layer of quality control and efficiency to our team.

Dana is a Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) as defined by ASHRAE, a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) as defined by the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) and a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) as defined by AABC’s Commissioning Group (AGC).  Dana has been a presenter as well as a published author on building commissioning and LEED® certification.

Brett Baldry

Brett Baldry leads many of our municipal project efforts, having spent over 18 years working primarily on public sector projects.  He serves as a primary point of contact and project manager from the design phase through to construction completion and provides management oversight of all project elements including budget and schedule control. In addition to comprehensive pre-construction cost phase estimating, value analysis, and constructability review, Brett provides direction supporting front-end bidding documentation to generate maximum interest and competitive contractor bids in what has become a very competitive construction market.  He is widely valued for oversight of trade contractor performance review, contractor negotiation and award, and for his consistent on-time and on-schedule project delivery.  He has successfully completed several large capital projects for Washington County, Anoka County, Steele County, City of Forest Lake and City of Columbia Heights.
